Shaw Industries Plant – Aiken, SC
CORE Safety provided the general contractor with onsite safety staffing support for the Shaw Industries plant expansion in Aiken, South Carolina. The project included 543,000 square feet of building additions, doubling the size of the existing facility, with a warehouse, five-story tower, silo pad, and other improvements. Our Safety Advisors delivered full-time safety consulting and OSHA compliance support as required by owner specifications. Daily duties included OSHA safety training, safety inspections, reviewing contractor documentation, toolbox talks, and site orientations for new subcontractors. CORE Safety ensured all subcontractors and the general contractor maintained high safety standards. Our services provided a safe, compliant, and efficient construction environment throughout the project.
