Biography
Based out of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Scott serves as CORE Safety’s point of contact for consulting services and focuses on developing existing relationships into lasting relationships with our clients’ management teams. Scott has over 20 years of experience in safety management, including loss control and claims management for manufacturing and construction industries. He is highly experienced in the onsite safety management of large-scale construction, hospital renovation, industrial retrofit, and demolition projects. He has developed, implemented and managed corporate safety programs, policies and procedures to impact overall safety performance. He has also developed and implemented job-site specific safety plans, fall protection plans, job site hazard analysis, and adverse weather plans for critical construction and demolition activities for pharmaceutical, hospital, chemical, and manufacturing industries. Scott is a member of the American Society of Safety Professionals, Metro Indianapolis Coalition for Construction Safety, Associated General Contractors, Building Contractor Association, Board of Certified Safety Professionals and the American Red Cross.
Scott is a graduate of Indiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Safety Management and currently holds the Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST), Occupational Hygiene & Safety Technician (OHST) and the Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certifications from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
